Car# 12 Originally built for Ken Miles who was killed testing a J-Car at Riverside before he could drive it. Invoiced 8/24/66 to Turner Ford (Wichita, KS). Purchased by John McComb (MO). Finished 1st in SCCA Midwest Division ’66. Raced at Pan American Trans-Am, Green Valley, TX 9/10/66 (1st); Riverside Trans-Am 9/18/66 (4th); Continental Divide SCCA National ’66 (1st); St. Jovite Canada ’66 (2nd). Invited to ’66 ARRC at Riverside (DNF). Featured on cover of Sports Car Graphic 12/66. Finished 1st Midwest Division ’67 (points combined with those won with ’67 Car #10). Raced at Daytona 300 Trans-Am 2/3/67 (DNF); 24-Hours of Daytona 2/4/67 (DNF); Polar GP, Green Valley, TX 3/67 (2nd); Green Valley Trans-AM 4/16/67 (17th); Mid-Ohio Trans-Am 6/11/67 (11th) Pictured in ’67 Motor Trend World Automotive Yearbook (pgs 146-147); pictured in Sports Car Graphic 6/67. Purchased by Melvin Hammontree ’73. Purchased by Max Anderson ’78. Purchased by current owner Gary Spraggins (Kingwood, TX) ’86. Presently restored to ’66 specifications.

1970 LS6 Chevelle

1970 Chevelle SS 454, LS-6 Sport Coupe

This is one of the legendary factory equipped, numbers matching, 1970 Chevelle SS 454, 450 HP, LS-6 coupes. It has undergone a complete nut and bolt, frame off, rotisserie restoration completed in March 2002. It is equipped with the Muncie "Rock Crusher" 4 speed transmission, SS package, cowl induction, F-41 suspension, hood pins, power steering, deluxe interior with bucket seats, gauge package, console, power windows & locks, deluxe tilt steering wheel, AM/FM stereo. It is painted with stunning, factory correct Black Cherry paint, black stripes, and black interior. During the restoration, it was equipped with ceramic coated headers, classic auto A/C, radial tires on repro 15" x 8" SS rally wheels, quartz clock movement, trunk mounted CD changer. Original exhaust manifolds, smog, heater core unit, and 14" x 7" rally wheels are still with the car.

68 Corvette

1965 Corvette Convertible, 327-365 hp, 4 speed

Triple Black! Show quality Tuxedo Black exterior with Black Leather interior and Black soft top, and an Auxiliary Hard Top. Winner of National Corvette Restorer Society “Top Flight Award” it has 3,670 miles since photo documented Frame-off restoration. Also has side duel exhaust, wood steering wheel, positract axle 370r, PB AM/FM radio, inside no glare mirror, seat belts, back up lamp, tinted glass; knock off wheels, radial tires. Also with this car includes original carburetor, 5 picture packs of documentation on restoration, NCRS 1991 newsletter showing “Top Flight Award”, 1965 Corvette Stingray new car brochure, legal envelope containing original and copies of 2nd Flight Award and Top Flight Award, 1965 Chevrolet finger-tip facts binder, In the glove box there was the vehicle owners glove compartment file that contained a laminated window sticker from Henna Chevrolet, 65 Corvette owners guide, pocket guide for AM FM radio, aluminum wheel maintenance card, Chevrolet Corvette AM-FM operating instructions, FM radio tag. Looks, runs, and drives excellent.

1 of 2,072! Equipped with L68 option 427/400hp engine (highest horse power Vette available for 1969 with factory air) with three Holley two barrel carburetors and a four speed manual transmission. This is an early production Vette for 1969 that is a numbers matching car, with photo documentation and original “Corvette Order Copy” (a.k.a. Tank Sticker).
